Martha Graham was not far from the truth when she stated that “great dancers are not great because of their technique, they are great because of their passion.” Shakir “Turbo Zero Limits” Griffith leads by example. With his modern, swift and smooth dance moves, there is no doubt that he has found his true calling… or rather, it found him.
Apart from his other job as a laborer and spending time with his family, Griffith lives and breathes dancing. His hard work has paid off as he has performed for Machel Montano in the past and teaches classes with students from the dance school Elle NYTT.
Like many, Griffith’s passion stems from a variety of different creative media. Once there’s a good beat, it’s guaranteed that Shakir Griffith will be moving to his own rhythm as he continues to live out his dream.
